backcountry snowboarding tours

backcountry snowboarding tours
which is based ski hut?

I want to go backcountry snowboarding, and that area alone, Camp Peggy O'Brien Hut Tour says something does not need a night backpack and staying the night or something. please help me ind what it means. Thank you http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail.aspx?trailid=XAC005-018

Camp Peggy O'Brien is three miles in the woods anywhere John's Brook Lodge just outside of Keene Valley NY. The trail to the camp is fairly level with gradual slope to the hut. According to the hinterland areas you want to access, Peggy O'Brien is not necessarily the best place to stay. I suggest getting Drew Haas Adirondack Slide Guide and a copy of Hugh Peaks Adirondack Trail Guide with a map. Search the Guide slides for areas that you want mount, and then choose which camp the backcountry that you want to use. Peggy O'Brien is nice because it is the cabin. Others lean and you need more speed, but you can go to the Adirondack Loj and campground and access backcountry terrain very well. http://www.adk.org
