Building Snowboarding Ramps

snowboarding in backyard problem?

ok i am 13 and i really love and am good at snowboard. the problem is the place we go to is 45 min away. so i really want to do it in my back yard but we dont have any hills. last year i made a ramp by packing down snow then tilting a peice of plywood on it then covering the wood. it worked great but it was sort of small and it took long to build. do you have any suggestions to wer to buy a SNOWBOARD ramp or plans of how to make one. anything that can help

First of all, 45 minutes isn’t far for snowboarding. In fact. You Are lucky that you are that close to a hill. Make a snowboard drop in ramp. While you’re at it you might as well make a rail from some 2×4’s and some PVC.
