Ohio Snowboarding Shops

ohio snowboarding shops
whats it like living in Europe?

i live in the US (ohio) and my friends were talking about going to canada for the weekend or drive to Pennsylvania for some snowboarding or go to New York for some shopping like its no big deal (because we do it all the time) but i was thinking is it the same way in europe? like do people say, “Oh yeah i was thinking of going to france for the weekend” or “maybe i’ll go drive to italy and go shopping”??? just mildly curious?

The people I know do this, but I think it depends a lot on age, ability to travel (with family/work/studies/etc) and interest. The option is there for those that want it, and it doesn’t need to be expensive.

It can be very cheap to travel between European countries if you use budget airlines (like RyanAir) or ferries. I’ve even found occasional free tickets (well, 1 kr including taxes, which is about $0.17) when RyanAir has promotions. There are also promotions for free ferry trips sometimes. For those that live in countries that are more central, trains are a good option. No one I know drives, but I live in Norway where owning a car is very expensive and it’s too far from the rest of Europe to make it worthwhile anyway.

Two nights in a decent hostel costs about $60 USD, courchsurfing or staying with friends is free.

So it’s very reasonable, for people willing to travel like a backpacker. Several of my friends just got back from Tanzania, others went to Prague for New Year’s, my neighbors are currently in France, my boyfriend recently went skiing in another part of Norway and I’m heading to the UK in a few days.
