Red Snowboarding Helmets

Snowboard helmet to buy?

I am a newbie snowboarder. I've been snowboarding for only a year, during which I did not wear a helmet, because I had no money to buy one. However after 2 shots to the head I felt (literally) the importance to wear. However, I am a bit puzzled. In my country, the choice is somewhat limited to Red, 661, Arnette and helmets. I'm pretty sure I'll buy one red helmet, who feel more stable on my head and maybe they will feel more comfortable on the slopes. But I need someone who has some experience with red mark or Trace Shaun White, or some other helmet 661 may be. What is the main difference between the normal and Trace Shaun White? Is it worth the little extra money? Do you have evidence tested some of the helmets on the slopes? Thanks in advance!

Red makes great helmets. If agree and comfortable, I absolutely would not recommend. The only difference between the trace and regular Shaun White Trace is the name of Shaun White. They are exactly the same thing. I do not know that 661 or Arnette helmets so I can not really comment on those. You said that these are your only choices, but just in case you see them, I like the new Smith and Giro helmets this year in addition to the red helmets.
