Ride Snowboarding Clothing

want to start snowboarding…?

ive always wanted to snowboard, and now i have time and think im finally going to do it. any tips for a beginer? i think im going to get a lesson package from mountain creek. any advice would be great from clothes to riding. thanks!

Do not worry about looking cool at first. I’ve seen beginners wearing jeans who cant stand up, and they look miserable. Once you get the hang of things, consider losing clothing but until then, be smarter than that. Other boarders will respect you better that way, and you won’t be miserable and wet.

People in front of you on the slope are your responsibility, as much as that sucks. Some people really don’t understand that going all over the place at 1/13 mph is aggravating but maybe they’re just learning too.

The first day probably won’t be fun, and you will fall a lot more than you expected. If you stick with it and persist, it will pay off.

When you do get the hang of it–and I promise you will– don’t be reckless out of your limits. I mean– by all means– be reckless, just make sure you don’t take anyone else out. You don’t want to end the day with a heavy conscience.
