Skiing/Snowboarding Enthusiasts of the West! Brian Head or Durango?
Where should me and my boyfriend go over Thanksgiving break, Thursday – Sunday!?!
We’re looking at either Brian Head, Utah or Durango, Colorado. I’ve already been to Brian Head a few times, but he’s been to neither. I’d be willing to go to either.
Which do you recommend??
Well, I’ve never skied either of those places. But FYI, Crested Butte, CO has FREE skiing the first three weeks of the season or so. Usually November through middle of December. I worked there one season and it’s great, although early season anywhere can be a bit sketchy, so keep that in mind.
I’ve heard the Southwestern CO resorts are great (Telluride, Durango, etc.), so those would be a good bet too. Have fun!
