Shaun White, Born With Snowboarding Skills. You, Born With Internet Marketing Skills?

Sorry pal, but I don’t think so. Shaun White, now in his early 20’s he won the gold medal last year and is number one. However he has never been a stranger to snowboarding and he has caught attention from a young age when he was called the future kid. This kind of skill is God sent, its in the blood, the bones, the heart and the mind. Online Marketing is a skill you learn and study, practice and master. No one is born with an Internet Marketing skill, thats why there is no Shaun White of the Internet Marketing World.

For people who want to be experts, there are means and ways, techniques and learned skills that can be followed, but I’ll warn you now, patience is a requirement. Online Marketing is not something you can try for a week, see the results and decide to continue or not.

For people starting out, you need to research on the different companies, people and sites that do online marketing. See what seems to be working and what doesn’t. Read testimonials and look for feedback online, see what seems like fact and what seems like a paid advertisement or a paid attack.

When you’re done with your research, you should have an idea on what you may want to market. An online marketer needs a product, and it should be something you know, trust and believe in as it’s easier to tell the truth and be honest than is is to act and lie, or it is for most people I hope.

Then do more research on the particular kind of online marketing you want to get into. See how you want to start out. Will be be doing things on your own or signing up with another company? When you get things started, be patient. This is not a get rich quick scheme like most people think.

What about all the negative feedback people have on online marketing? It doesn’t work. It’s a scam. There’s no point to it. It’s just like a pyramid. Well, of course there are the scam versions, thats why I emphasize on research and distinguishing between real and fake testimonials. Also, I keep emphasizing on patience because a lot pf people sign up one night, and the nest week are disappointed because they didn’t make a million dollars yet. Again, thats not how it works.

Start small, learn a lot and be patient. Don’t keep your expectations too high, be reasonable with your goals and plans. This is like any business that needs patience and work. Sure we can’t be Shaun White, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be as big in our industry.
