Am I eligible to enlist in the military if I have had a head injury in February of 2006? ?
I had a head injury in 2006 from a snowboarding accident. I was only unconscious for about 5 minutes and I have had no signs of it affecting me after I have healed. I was curious if this could effect my ability in enlisting in the military I am looking to join the National Guard in January 2009.
I plan on calling a recruiter and asking but I wanted to ask on here to see if I would be wasting my time asking… Is it possible I could get a waiver for this?

your clear.. unless it was a serious injury.. you will be fine…a concussion isnt the big of a deal.. they will be looking for people who have surgery.. or plates or other things like that.. and if it was wierd.. and they did say it was a problemm… it would be very easy to get a waiver
