Snowboarding North Dakota

What board should I get?
Okay, So I live in North Dakota, so I need a board that will work for the cooley’s because we don’t have any mountains near us.
What kind of board should I get?
And what’s some other things I need for snowboarding? I really want to take this seriously…
I know absolutely NOTHING About Snowboarding and I have only went like twice my whole life, and I fell… Alot… Haha.
I want it to be Burton because i’ve heard they’re and amazing brand, but what kind of board should I get?
There are a lot of brands out there just as good (or better) than Burton – don’t buy one just because of the hype. Most good riders that I know won’t touch a Burton just because the posers all ride them.
Use a calculator to determine the right size for you:

I would suggest a K2 board – check this one out for $175:

I would suggest Burton for snowboard pants, get a “shell” jacket with no insulation and wear a fleece / sweater under it so you can layer / unlayer for the conditions. I would also suggest some synthetic underwear (hot chillis, patagonia, etc) and that you don’t wear any cotton – once it gets wet you will be miserable.
Good Luck
