Texas Ski Resort Snowboarding

Where to take kids skiing that’s not too expensive for holidays.?

Kids under 13yrs. want to go to Colorado for snowboarding and learn to ski. Single mom on budget..please advise. What are some fun and safe family-oriented resorts……thanks from Texas!

There is a small ski resort called Cooper. What’s nice about it is there is not allot of people so the slopes are usually empty. A good place to learn. There is lodging available in the near by town of Leadville. Also, the Summit County ski resorts are all just over the hill from Leadville.

Wish I could help more. All I know for sure is Colorado state hwy 24 will take you to leadville.
