Vancouver Snowboarding Places
Which place is better to move to? Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver?
I am an incoming student from the USA and am looking into moving to a city.
I have been to Canada a few times and loved it. I have never been to the above cities though. I would like to know which would be the best to move to, for my situation.
Things to consider:
-I am going to college in Canada
-I do not have much money, and can not afford a very expensive place to live.
-I currently live in Minnesota
-I enjoy playing hockey, snowboarding, paintball, golf, and gaming.
-I want to live in the city, not in a suburb

Ugh its so hard to choose!!!
I would say out of the three locations, Vancouver is the best.
- It has milder winter weather
- You Are close to several ski hills and can snow board
- There are golf courses galore. During the winter it’s possible to go skiing in the morning and golf in the afternoon.
- You obviously like winter sports. You will be here during the Winter Olympics and can experience the olympic Fever.
- Lots of and good colleges
- A diverse multicultural with tons of various cultural restraunts
- The BC Wine
- Summer time: Vancouver Wreck Beach which is the only official legal nudist beach in Canada. Near the University of British Columbia. On a hot summer weekend there will be more people on that beach than all the other beaches combined (can be up to 10,000 people and most of them naked as a jay bird).
Vancouver has been consistently voted in the top 5 of the best places in the World to live in the past several years. No other Canadian or American City came close.
One draw back is the cost of living (housing). Overall it’s not cheap, but neither is Toronto and not sure about Montreal. If you look and meet some people and/or check www.craigslist.com in the Vancouver City listings under Shared accommodation, you may be able to become a roommate for affordability.
