How are Bonfire Snowboarding trousers?

I know that make good jackets, what about pants? FYI Im thinking of buying a pair of pants melting bonfire. I thought Volcom, 686 or Solomon. Suggestions? I usually buy them in surf shops and live on the east coast, so I do not have material that holds water, but I will not spend much money on things like Gore-tex.
