Women Snowboarding Winners

Im trying to find this movie but don’t remember the name.?

It aired on tv sometime in the 90s. This boy and girl (pre-teen years I believe) are trying to prevent the end of the world. There is a scene with a ninja fighting other ninjas and then a vampire lord. After all enemies are defeated you find out it was virtual reality game. The winner was a woman and the loser was this crazy guy. He has his life sucked out into this vial of blue liquid which, per the story, is used to extend life and a big underground commodity. The boy has to play the game (and has scenes involving skiing/snowboarding and auto-matic weapons) to prevent the end of the world. The very end has a scene with a toaster (that apparently somehow was supposed to be the event that triggered the end of the world). Anyone know what that movie is called? I have racked my brain trying to remember.

i can only think of one movie that reminds me of that plot and its called “EXistenZ” and starred Jude Law and Jennifer Jason Leigh and came out in 1999.
