When does snowboarding/skiing season end?

I’m trying to go up to the slopes a few more times this season. Does anybody know when the season officially ends or when the snow starts melting and it won’t be nice anymore?
I live in Southern California by the way, so the closest resort is Big Bear for me.

That’s a tough one to answer.
A ballpark answer would be the end of March or biginning of April for local resorts, maybe longer this year. Use the link below for reasonably reliable snow reports.
I grew up in Westminster, CA and did a lot of skiing in Big Bear and Wrightwood (Mountain High). Snow Valley is also an option (up around Running Springs) but is not likely to be open longer than the others.

Also, look into Mountainboarding…
If you’ve never been to Mountain High, GO THERE!
It’s a much easier drive (less mountain road driving) and has good terrain.

You can also drive to Mammoth Mountain, which will have snow long after the local resorts have closed.
