Why is skiing better then snowboarding?
•There are now more ski resorts then snowboarding;
•It has had a longer heritage, first used in 4500 BC while snowboarding was invented a mere 40 years ago.
•There is a less risk of injury from skiing then snowboarding with only 3-10 out of 1000 while in snowboarding this increases to roughly 50 out a 1000.
•There is a larger opportunity for people with disabilities to ski then snowboarding

Some people like skiing more than snowboarding. Some people like snowboarding more than skiing. Some people like both. They are all right. It is a completely subjective choice.
What is definitely correct is that the juvenile tribalism about the decision is immature and a waste of time and effort.
